Marites: Ironic nga talaga but then again, it's our society's fault to emphasize working for somebody when there should be emphasis on having one's own business. Most Asians have long been given emphasis on entrepreneurship which gave them strong economies today unlike us, we are just satisfied with the 8-hour job. Kaya, pobre gihapon:)

The Kid in Us

     Children, except for highly exceptional cases are honest about how they feel.  They say what is on their minds and though for us adults,  sometimes  they speak non sense,  these non sense things actually have  basis.  They are afraid to tell lies not because they are afraid of their parents' punishments but because they are afraid to hurt "baby Jesus", "Papa Jesus". 

     And that kind of honesty gradually decreases for most of us (including me of course) as we grow old.  In several cases we even make excuses and justify by saying it was a white lie.  There is no white lie.  Once we say something untrue, we already lie and that is it.

     It may be very difficult yet it is good if we keep the kid in us.
